Low-hanging fruit is anything (person or object) that can be won with little to no effort. It's easy. Personally, low-hanging fruit does not appeal to me. It's too much work. That's right! Low-hanging fruit is too much work. There's always an attachment or something with it. In my experience, low-hanging fruit is cumbersome to maintain. It's the same as when you pick fruit. Fruit that falls off the tree or is on the ground rots quicker than the fruit you have to climb the tree to get. When the higher fruit ripens, it's juicy and sweet. It's like it ages to perfection. Now, there is nothing wrong with low-hanging fruit. It's a quick bite and is just as satisfying. But, you have to eat it quick before it spoils. sometimes the fruit on the ground looks good; but, when you pick it up and turn it over, it's rotten.
I begin this article with a powerful and important question: Are you happy with your quality of life? Notice I use the word "happy" rather than "satisfied." This is because you can be satisfied with your quality of life but not be happy. The point of quality of life is to live beyond satisfaction and to be happy. Life is about happiness and joy. Do you have peace?
